Stop Your Junk Mail and Save the Planet!

GreenDimes is a fantastic new service that can directly impact not only your life but the environment as well. For what adds up to a dime a day, they will get your name off every junk mail list and keep it off. If you've ever tried to get off a mailing list yourself, it's not easy - but GreenDimes will call, email, fax, or do whatever the company requires to get you off that list. In addition, they will plant a tree in your name every month!

Still undecided? Check out these shocking facts about junk mail:
  • 100 million trees are chopped down every year for junk mail sent to American homes.
  • 28 billion (that’s 28 with 9 zeros) gallons of water are needed to make all the paper used for junk mail.
  • Paper makes up a third of the 235 million tons of waste Americans send to landfills each year.
  • The typical American household receives about 70 pounds of junk mail a year.
  • The amount of junk mail sent grows by 3 billion pieces a year.
If you want to stop contributing to the problem and become an active part of the solution, join GreenDimes today!

Support our troops for free

It's easy to forget how many Americans soldiers are risking their lives every day in Iraq. Xerox has created a great website to say thanks and send your support to them for free. Just visit LetsSayThanks.com, select a postcard design, add your message, and click send. The cards are printed on card stock and physically mailed to military personnel stationed overseas. For the card designs, children from across the country were invited to submit drawings that reminded them of patriotism or their hometown, and a graphic design professor at the Rochester Institute of Technology then selected the original designs from a pool of entries. You can also submit your own designs to be used as well. Imagine how 60 seconds of your time right now could brighten up a soldier's day.
