If you were ever unsure about exactly when to purchase a plane ticket, this is the site for you. Just plug in your desired flight and Farecast will tell you what the chances are that the fare will increase or decrease in the future. The site claims to save an average of $40 per ticket. When we tried to book a ticket to Hawaii over Christmas, Farecast told us to WAIT because it expected an average drop of $50 or more within the next 7 days (with a confidence of 80%).
